At Allander we recognise that all our activities interact with the environment. We are committed to minimising adverse impacts and improving process efficiency. This will be achieved through our commitment to:

• Comply with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations.

• Review the actual and potential environmental impacts of all activities, including those affecting our local communities.

• Strive for continual improvement in environmental performance through setting objectives and targets.

• Employ best practice to prevent pollution, minimising waste and maximising the efficient use of resources ( materials, fuel and energy).

• Engage in dialogue with suppliers and distributors to encourage their participation in environmental best practice.

Additionally, every employee has an individual responsibility to help meet the requirements of this policy. All are invited to contribute ideas towards better practice through their Health, Safety and Environmental Officer.

To meet this commitment, all departments within the company will be audited annually by the company Health, Safety and Environmental Officer to:

• Benchmark performance within the company.

• Help identify and prioritise issues for improvement.

• Ensure legal compliance.

• Provide a framework to review our environmental objectives.
